Terms of use
Last updated: 22 August 2026
By using Toolora you agree to these terms. If you list a tool or pay for a plan, you also agree to the listing rules below.
1. The service
Toolora is a directory of software, websites, and related products. We publish editorial pages, search, compare, and outbound “Get it here” links. We do not sell those products ourselves, run them, or promise they will work for you.
2. Affiliate links
As an Amazon Associate, Toolora earns from qualifying purchases. Some other outbound links may use Impact, ShareASale, PartnerStack, or a vendor’s own referral programme when we are enrolled. Clicks go through /go/[slug]. Prices, stock, and refunds are the merchant’s, not ours. Always read the destination site before you pay.
3. Catalogue and opinions
Ratings, scores, and blurbs are editorial. They are not user reviews we have verified, and they are not a guarantee. Listings can be added, edited, or removed. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners and are used to identify the product.
4. Paid listings
Verified and Featured listing tiers are paid subscriptions processed by Stripe. By paying you agree to Stripe’s terms and to recurring billing until you cancel. We may refuse or take down a listing that is misleading, illegal, or harmful. Refunds are considered case-by-case under UK consumer law; unused time after a billing period starts is not automatically refunded.
5. Acceptable use
- No submitting malware, scam, or counterfeit products.
- No using Toolora to run unsolicited spam or scrape at a harmful volume.
- No attempting to break checkout, admin, or affiliate hops.
- No pretending a paid listing is an independent award.
6. Availability
Hosting, search, and payments can fail. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every outbound site will stay online.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including a bad purchase, lost profit, or lost data). For paid listings, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability that UK law does not allow us to exclude (including fraud, or death or personal injury from negligence).
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date on this page is the notice. Continued use means you accept the current version.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory UK consumer protections where they apply.
10. Contact
See Privacy for data requests and Security to report a vulnerability.
